Last week, Xerocon, the annual conference of Xero, took place in London, and what an event it was!
Xerocon is unlike any other conference, often referred to as the "Glastonbury for accountants." This two-day event was hosted at the Excel in London on the 13th and 14th of June, drawing in over 3000 accountants and bookkeepers.
More than 50 global brands, including Chaser, showcased their products, and there were several keynote speakers, such as Sue Perkins and Sam Conniff. Xerocon is celebrated for its perfect mix of festivity and professionalism, filled with endless networking opportunities, interesting presentations, and entertaining experiences. Attendees had the chance to meet with Chaser's accounts receivable experts at the stand, who demonstrated how Chaser's receivable automation software can enhance their own and their clients' credit control processes. With the recent introduction of features like Letters, Auto-call, Recommended chasing time, and the Late Payment Predictor, it was fantastic to witness the excitement of accountants and bookkeepers as they realized the significant impact these new tools and Chaser would have on their businesses.
Meeting existing customers and other Xero app partners
It's been a while since Xerocon was held in London, and it was a great opportunity to reconnect with existing customers, other Xero app partners, and help accountants and bookkeepers realize that optimizing accounts receivable processes and ensuring timely payments doesn't have to be a daunting task.
The famous Xerocon party took place at The Excel, and what an evening it was! Often called the “Coachella for accountants and bookkeepers,” and for good reason, the Glam Rock-themed party featured delicious food and drinks, a DJ, and a live band that played all the popular songs. The Chaser team had a fantastic time catching up with new and familiar faces in a more relaxed setting.
Orange umbrellas and frisbees
This year, Chaser surprised attendees with fun and practical giveaways – bright orange umbrellas and frisbees. Not only did they add a vibrant splash of color to the event, but they also provided a memorable keepsake that attendees could take home.
Accountants and bookkeepers have seen firsthand how Chaser and Xero work together to help businesses reduce late payments in the most efficient and polite way possible.
It was a privilege to exhibit at Xerocon London this year, alongside such fantastic company, at such an inspiring event. The Chaser team is are already looking forward to next year!
