This month the first large in-person event of the year for Accountants and Bookkeepers took place: the Digital Accountancy Show. Originally due to take place in March 2020 and postponed due to the pandemic, this event was certainly worth the wait!
The Digital Accountancy Show was a free trade show held at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 1 September 2021, for progressive accountants and bookkeepers looking to introduce new service lines and boost their profits.
The trade show included talks and lectures from some of the UK’s most influential leaders in the accountancy and tech sectors, and thought leader talks across five stages and an App Village of leading cloud apps - including Chaser!
Here are some highlights from the show

Debtor Daze pale ale
Chaser's Debtor Daze pale ale made its first appearance since 2019 at the trade show and proved to be a hit. The accounting-themed pale ale is back with a new brand and is supplied by London craft brewery (and Chaser users!) Anspach & Hobday. Get a closer look at the Debtor Daze can in this blog.
Accountant or bookkeeper? Attend a demo with the Chaser partnerships team and you could get your hands on your very own cans of Debtor Daze.

How to improve your cash flow by £250,000 panel
Chaser hosted a panel at the Tech Academy Stage of the trade show, where five forward-thinking accountants shared case studies on how they had achieved outstanding cash flow results for their clients - through the use of cloud technology and digital transformation.
The 'game show'-style panel did not disappoint, with panelists reaching a whopping £450,000 in cash flow improvements for their clients.
A huge thank you to Katherine O'Carroll, Joanne Royal, Miriam Akhtar, Graeme Tennick, and Chloe Scott.
Panelists from BDO LLP UK, BHP, SAS Accountants, Tennicks, and Alexander Sloan smashed their target by £200,000 - watch the recorded panel.
7-minute pitch off
Chaser was invited to deliver a 7-minute pitch at the designated 'Pitch Off stage' at the Digital Accountancy Show. Chaser's Chief Revenue Officer, Mark Robertson, took to the stage to show how Chaser's end-to-end receivables automation is helping accountants and their clients put an end to late payments.

End-to-end receivables automation and credit checking
The Chaser team was proud to showcase Chaser's new end-to-end receivables management functionality at the show, with the recent introduction of in-app credit checking and payment plans.
Chaser partners at the show were also excited to see a demo of their new client engagement hub, Partner Central, at the stand - where they can access an extensive library of go-to-market resources, from co-branded content, pre-made promotions, and solution-specific sales collateral.
Chaser team members Mark, Chris, Amaya, and Ben excited to showcase end-to-end receivables automation and give away some Debtor Daze pale ales!
