“Some of the key things I took away from my training is that just like in marketing, timing really is everything when it comes to credit control! Chasing payments at the wrong times can waste both time and money. Understanding past payment history and customers' payment runs is crucial for effective collections. I also learned how to use negotiation tools and the power of direct language—avoiding powerless words like 'could' or 'but' makes a difference. Plus, having a clear BATNA (Best Alternative to a Negotiated Agreement) is a game-changer. These trainings have definitely given me some great ideas for how we can support credit controllers to be even better at their jobs with new content and guidance on these topics from Chaser."
