Last week, Accountex London 2024, the premier event for accountants, finance professionals, and bookkeepers, took place at the London ExCeL. The event attracted over 11,000 attendees from across Europe, eager to network, gain insights, and discover the latest advancements in the accounting and finance industry.
Chaser was proud to exhibit alongside more than 300 global brands, and Accountex hosted 180 CPD-accredited talks and seminars designed to equip attendees with the knowledge and inspiration necessary to thrive in the rapidly evolving world of accounting and finance.
The Chaser team had an incredible experience during the two-day event, and we are already counting down the days until Accountex 2025. Meanwhile, here are some of the main highlights from this year's event.
Orange umbrellas
This year, Chaser delighted attendees with a fun and practical giveaway – bright orange umbrellas. These vibrant umbrellas quickly became a hit, with many visitors stopping by our stand to grab one. Not only did they add a splash of color to the event, but they also provided a useful keepsake that attendees could take home. The enthusiasm for these umbrellas was overwhelming, proving to be one of the most popular items we've ever had at an event.
AI and automation in accounts receivables presentation
On Wednesday, 15th of May, Charlotte Gill and Amaya Woods from Chaser delivered an insightful presentation on AI and automation in accounts receivable. Titled "AI and Automation in Accounts Receivables – A Game-Changer for Finance Teams and Their Accountants," the session explored how these technologies are revolutionizing the operations of finance teams, from invoicing to payment reconciliation.
Charlotte and Amaya, both AR experts, discussed the benefits and challenges of AI and automation, sharing success stories and insights on optimizing cash flow and efficiency. They also highlighted the necessary skills and mindset for finance professionals to thrive in this new era. The presentation underscored how AI and automation are not just game-changers but catalysts for innovation in finance and accounts receivable management. Attendees left with a deeper understanding of leveraging these technologies to transform their practices.
End-to-end accounts receivable solution
At the stand, attendees met Chaser's credit control experts who showcased how Chaser's end-to-end accounts receivable automation software can automate their own and their clients' credit control processes. Chaser has recently introduced new features such as Auto-call, Recommended chasing time, and the Late payment predictor, and it was fantastic to see the excitement of accountants and bookkeepers as they realized the significant impact these new features and Chaser would have on their businesses.
Connecting with customers and other fintech companies
Accountex provided a wonderful opportunity for the Chaser team to reconnect with existing customers and celebrate their success stories. Engaging with Chaser's users in person and hearing how our solutions are helping them save time and get paid faster was truly rewarding. Additionally, it was great to catch up with other exhibitors and explore the various solutions available for accountants and bookkeepers.
